Troubleshooting Checklist

Order of attack when nothing works.

Check power voltage first, then ground, reset and clock. Confirm the chip is programmed and the correct configuration is selected.

Toggle a pin to prove the code runs. Check pin directions, pull-ups and wiring against the schematic. Change one thing at a time and write down what you tried.
